94至98年间，曾在中、南马区艺术歌唱赛及全国艺术歌曲歌唱赛中获得女子组奖项。同时，也随芙中（雪隆）校友会合唱团到香港、台湾、西班牙、泰国、奥地利等国家作交流演出，并呈献独唱。2001年4月间还代表马来西亚参加朝鲜艺术节。也多次参与歌剧精粹的演出。2002 年前往台湾国立师范大学参与音乐教学研究班。

在多年的教学旅程里，曾为多个合唱团举行过多场演唱会，如《初蕾》、《乘着歌声的翅膀》、《童年的呼唤》、《成长的喜悦》、《梦飞翔》等。另外，也曾带领万津中学校友、吉隆坡坤成（二）小、巴生福建会馆少儿合唱团、沙呖秀大同华小参加全国儿童合唱比赛，并获奖。其中巴生福建会馆少儿合唱团更在1998、1999、2001 年获得冠军，2002 年亚军。

2003年陈老师教导的隆中华独中合唱团荣获全国中学华语合唱比赛女声合唱冠军。2004年该校更在全国中学华语合唱比赛荣获女声合唱季军，男声合唱冠军，混声合唱冠军及全场总冠军。同年也带领巴生福建会馆青少年儿童合唱团前往吉隆坡、马六甲、芙蓉、新加坡作巡回演唱。2005年，再度带领该少儿合唱团北上到槟城、吉南及泰南巡回演唱。

2006年7月率领巴生福建会馆少儿合唱团及青少年合唱团前往厦门参加2006年第4届世界合唱比赛, 并获一金二银的荣誉，为我国争光；其中该团演唱的中文曲子更获得中国多位著名指挥家赞赏。2006年，吉隆坡中华独中合唱团也在全国中学合唱比赛中荣获混声合唱、男声合唱、女声合唱金牌及全场总冠军。

2006年，La Voce Choir (爱韵合唱团)成立，担任该合唱团指导兼指挥之一，并于2006年12月一连四天受邀在KLPAC(KL Performing Arts Centre)演出，深获好评。2007年5月，陈老师带领La Voce Choir (爱韵合唱团) 再次在KLPAC呈现专场演唱会，12月更举办《圣诞故事》音乐会。同时，吉隆坡中华独中合唱团也前往新山，参与全国青年合唱赛，并获得季军。

2008年1月,陈老师成立泰雷嘉少儿合唱团，并于5月间参与全国儿童合唱比赛，获第三名，同时，也在6月间参与吉隆坡无伴凑合唱节，吉隆坡中华独中合唱团也参与此合唱节皆深获好评。8月，荣获巴生歌乐节颁发音乐艺术贡献奖，多年来对音乐教学的努力得到肯定。

Ms. Tang Hui Kung

^{Ms. Tang Hui Kung graduated as the best student from the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) in 1992 with a major in vocal and a minor in piano. During 1994 to 1998, she won a few prices in the Malaysia National Competition. At the same time, she also joined a few choir groups for performances at Hong Kong, Taiwan, Spain, Thailand, and Austria. During the tour, she do not only involved in choir singing but also performed in solo soprano. In April 2001, she represented Malaysia to perform in the North Korea Art Festival. She then went to Taiwan to participate in a music teaching seminar in 2002. In 1995, she and her husband opened the first guitar institution in Klang – Tarrega Guitar House.}

^{After so many years of teaching, choirs who are taught by her held many reputable concerts. Moreover, she led a few of her choir groups to participate in the National Junior Choir Competition, and eventually won some awards. The Klang Hokkien Association Youth and Junior Choir – who was taught by Ms. Tang Hui Kung – won their champions in 1998, 1999, and 2001, and first runner up in 2002.}

^{In 2003, she started to lead the choir group of SMK (Persendirian) Chung Hwa, Kuala Lumpur to the journey of success. In 2004, they managed to receive a female voice chorus second runner up, a male voice chorus champion, a mixed chorus champion and a total champion during the National Secondary School Choral Competition. In the same year, she also led Klang Hokkien Association Youth and Junior Choir to Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Seremban, and Singapore for a tour concert. In 2005, she once again led this choir group to north Peninsular Malaysia – Penang and Kedah - and also South Thailand for their tour concert. In July 2006, Ms. Tang Hui Kung brought the Klang Hokkien Association Youth and Junior Choir to participate in the “2006 Choir World Games, 4th Choir Olympic Xiamen, China” and successfully won a gold diploma, a silver diploma and a silver medal.}

^{Recently, SMK (Persendirian) Chong Hwa, Kuala Lumpur choir group that is taught by Ms. Tang Hui Kung proudly won their champions in the mixed choir category, the boys’ choir category, the girls’ choir category and eventually became the total champion in the 2006 National Secondary School Choral Competition.}
